Makkah Ziyarat Tour Taxi

Around 2.5 hours from and back to your hotel

A private half-day loop around the historic sites of Makkah in your own vehicle, starting and finishing at your hotel. Around two and a half hours, which is enough to see the main sites properly without turning the day into an endurance test.

What the tour covers

The usual circuit takes in the plains of Mina and Muzdalifah, the plain of Arafat with Jabal ar-Rahmah, Masjid Namirah, the Jamarat area, Jabal al-Nour where the Cave of Hira sits, Jabal Thawr, Masjid Ayesha at Taneem and the Jannat al-Mualla cemetery area.

These are drive-past and short-stop visits rather than long walks. Two and a half hours allows photo stops and explanation at each point; it does not include climbing Hira or Thawr, which need a dedicated trip.

Why these places matter

Arafat is where the Prophet (peace be upon him) delivered the Farewell Sermon and where the standing on 9 Dhul Hijjah takes place. Mina and Muzdalifah are the encampments and the site of the Jamarat during Hajj. Seeing them empty and quiet outside the Hajj season gives most pilgrims a clearer picture of the rites than any diagram.

Masjid Ayesha at Taneem is the Miqat used by pilgrims already inside Makkah who wish to perform another Umrah — practical as well as historic.

How the outing runs

You choose the start time. Early morning is coolest and quietest; after Asr suits pilgrims who want to be back for Maghrib at the Haram. Ramadan afternoons are busy at every site.

The driver knows the circuit and the order that avoids doubling back. If you want to skip a site or spend longer at one, say so — it is your vehicle for the duration, not a fixed coach itinerary.

Vehicle and group size

Small families are comfortable in a Camry, Sonata or a seven-seater. Larger parties use the Hiace 11-seater or the Coaster 18-seater, and one vehicle keeps everyone together at each stop.

Fares are per vehicle for the whole tour, including waiting time at the stops. Ziyarat does not require Ihram, so dress normally and comfortably.

Extending the tour

If you want to add the Hira climb, the Kiswah factory, Hudaibiyah or the Zamzam factory, those are separate trips with their own fares because of the extra time.

Tell us on WhatsApp what you would like to see and we will suggest a realistic combination rather than a rushed one.
