Makkah's Haramain High Speed Railway station is at Rusayfah, several kilometres from the Haram, so getting there with luggage is its own small journey. This transfer picks you up at your Makkah hotel and drops you at the station entrance in time for check-in.

Hotels in Aziziyah and along the ring roads are quicker to leave from, which shortens the whole trip to Rusayfah.
The train itself is fast, around two and a half hours to Madinah. The full door-to-door picture is longer: this transfer, station check-in, the ride, then a taxi at the Madinah end to your hotel.
For light travellers the train is excellent value and a genuinely comfortable ride. For families with several cases, a direct car often costs less in total once both transfers are counted, and never involves lifting luggage onto a platform.
