Two sites on the same road west of Makkah: the King Abdulaziz Complex at Umm al-Joud where the Kiswah of the Kaaba is woven, and Masjid al-Hudaibiyah, where the treaty of Hudaibiyah was concluded in the sixth year after the Hijrah.

The complex produces the black silk covering of the Kaaba, embroidered with gold and silver-plated thread. Visitors see the dyeing, weaving and embroidery halls and the workshops where the belt and door curtain are made.
It is about twelve kilometres from the Haram on the Jeddah road, twenty to thirty minutes each way. Access follows the complex's own visiting arrangements, which vary through the year.
Hudaibiyah lies further out, roughly twenty-five kilometres from Makkah near the Shumaisi boundary. The treaty agreed here looked like a setback to many Muslims at the time and proved to be a turning point, and it was here that the pledge under the tree took place.
The masjid is modest and the site quiet. It is also a Miqat point, so pilgrims sometimes enter Ihram here for a second Umrah rather than joining the queues at Taneem.
Three to four hours covers both sites with the driving between them and the return to your hotel. The two are on the same westward road, which is why they pair naturally.
If you want to add Ihram at Hudaibiyah, mention it when booking so the driver allows time for changing and the two rak'ah, and knows whether to return you to the hotel or drop you at the Haram.
