Jeddah's traffic decides the last half hour. Arriving mid-morning or after Isha is usually smoother than the late afternoon peak.

Hotels near the airport and along Madinah Road are the quickest to reach at the end of a long drive. The Corniche and Al Balad sit deeper into the city and add time in the evening.
